Free mom flower SVG: a simple greeting card project
by GlowCrafted Studio
A free mom flower SVG is a useful way to try a digital craft workflow before choosing a larger set. This download from GlowCrafted Studio contains one original illustration in four formats, plus a license for finished physical products. The suggested greeting card is an idea for something you make yourself; no blank, material or physical item is included.
Download the free file
Use the free-file signup form to request the mom flower ZIP. After confirming your email signup, use the free-library link in the delivery message and choose this design. Save the ZIP, extract it, and keep the license with the files. If a browser opens when you click an SVG, use your craft software’s import command instead of copying an image from the browser.
Make a flower card with room for your own message
For a handmade card, place the flower slightly off center and leave an area for your own handwritten note. Print a paper layout before cutting the card material. If you choose adhesive vinyl on cardstock, test one offcut: delicate paper can tear when transfer tape is removed. A printed PNG is often a simpler choice for an especially small card.
Choose the right file format
SVG keeps the artwork as vector paths in software that supports SVG import. DXF is a compatibility alternative with closed polylines; verify the imported size in your particular software edition. EPS is a vector format for supported design applications. PNG is a transparent 3600 × 3600 image with 300-DPI metadata, intended for printing. All four files show the same illustration. A transparent PNG does not become a vector simply because its background is clear.
Check the details before cutting
Inspect the petal outline, central opening and stem at the final size. Keep the entire flower grouped when resizing so the parts retain their proportions. This is a flat illustration, not a folded-paper flower template. The license allows the finished physical card, but the digital file itself cannot be shared with recipients as another download. Set the visible artwork width, not just the page size. Keep the first test at least four inches wide, inspect the smallest features, and follow the machine and material manufacturer’s settings. A sample on scrap is more useful than assuming another maker’s settings will work on your setup.
Understand the commercial-use license
You may use this design on finished physical products you make or sell, within the included license. You may not redistribute the digital source, sell the file as another download, or include it in a digital bundle. Keep the license with your project records. Product photographs and rendered previews are visual examples; they do not establish machine testing or material durability.
Continue with a coordinated set
If this project fits your plans, browse the mom collection or the Mom-life Heart SVG Bundle. Singles are $3.99, ten-design theme bundles are $19, and fifty-design mega bundles are $39. Compare the actual included designs before buying. Frequent makers can read the membership details; choose a single file if that is all your project needs.
